Yeti

Yeti is currently thriving in his forever home, but his journey to get there was a long one! Journey Home Animal Care Center owes the Wags and Menace Make a Difference Foundation one gigantic thank you for making it possible for Yeti to be living his best life! When Yeti came to JHACC, he had a tail pull injury from being hit by a car. This injury was causing nerve damage to his spinal cord. He also had a separate minor fracture. He was completely unable to move his tail, and had difficulty using the bathroom. Our Veterinarian put Yeti on cage rest, but ultimately had to amputate Yeti’s tail in order to greatly improve his quality of life. Yeti stole everyone’s heart at JHACC, and was adopted by one of our staff! This loving, sweet, and handsome cat is literally living his best life – even without a tail! The life altering medical funding from Wags and Menace Make a Difference Foundation made this surgery possible for Yeti. JHACC, Yeti, and his new owner are forever grateful for their willingness to help make these life changing moments possible!
