Crayola

Crayola’s journey into motherhood began on April 16th as she welcomed six beautiful kittens of her own. In a touching twist of destiny, our caring staff saw an opportunity to give our two orphaned kittens a chance at a real family. With gentle hands and hopeful hearts, we introduced Discordia and Harmonia to Crayola, freshly scented to blend with her litter. To our delight, Crayola embraced them as her own without hesitation. The next challenge was to see if these bottle-fed orphans could adapt to nursing from their new mom. After a tense couple of days filled with careful monitoring and lots of encouragement, our little fighters successfully latched on and began their new lives as part of Crayola’s family. However, their journey wasn’t without hurdles. Discordia developed an abscess, followed by Harmonia and a step-littermate, requiring immediate medical attention. Thanks to the swift actions of our veterinary team and the loving care of their foster family, all three kittens responded well to treatment and have been thriving ever since. Today, our blended family of kittens is healthier, happier, and more playful than ever, proving that with a little bit of love and a lot of dedication, miracles can happen. We’re so proud of Crayola and her expanded family, and endlessly thankful to our team and supporters who make stories like this possible.
