Not long ago, we noticed that our sweet Mini Pearl was not thriving. After a vet exam and blood work, it was revealed that she has Cushings disease, a condition that requires daily medication to keep her feeling good. If that weren’t enough, she also developed an abscess under her jaw that was resistant to medications. Upon further exploration, our vet discovered several bone chips deep inside her jaw which were removed. Once again, our friend, Cindy Lee of the Wags and Menace Make a Difference Foundation offered her help. Her medical fund is helping to pay for Mini Pearl’s medications and treatments. Mini is now undergoing daily cleaning and flushing of the abscess– and is showing improvement.
