Miraposa was found walking along a busy street in Albuquerque. This curious Heeler/Siberian Husky cross had a large, gaping wound on her left hind leg & she desperately needed medical treatment to prevent a serious infection. A generous grant from the Wags and Menace Make a Difference Foundation made it possible for the 10-month-old brindle pup to receive immediate care at our Clinic. Our Team gave her pain medication, then cleaned & bandaged her leg. We monitored the sweet girl each day while the laceration healed. Day after day Miraposa met our Team with a smile. She enjoyed showing off her smart, attentive & social personality. It was no surprise that the very same day she was made available for adoption; Miraposa went home with her forever family. Thank you Wags & Menace for making a difference for hundreds of pets, like Miraposa!
