Smiley Peggy sends a big, tail-wagging thank you to Cindy Lee and the Wags and Menace Make a Difference Foundation. Peggy, a homeless pup, was found alone in rural New Mexico when she was transferred to HSBV for her second chance. From the moment she arrived, it was evident that little Peggy needed lifesaving help, and fast. She was lethargic and suffering from a painful, infected wound on her face as well as a severe upper respiratory infection making it difficult for her to breathe. The Wags and Menace Make a Difference Foundation funded her emergency medical hospitalization, critical diagnostics, blood work, emergency surgery to treat her wounds, special medication, and around the clock care for her infection. All smiles again, little Peggy now as a second chance at life with a new, loving family! Thank you, Cindy and the Wags and Menace Make a Difference Foundation for saving her life!
