This Pleated Woodpecker, is receiving excellent care at Sarvey Wildlife Care Center. He broke his right wing bone and it was bruised and swollen. The right wing has been wrapped with special medical treatments/ support, to allow the bone to heal correctly. For many years, the Wags and Menace Make A Difference Foundation, has helped funded emergency medical care for so many wildlife animals like him, so they have a second chance at life.
