Sweet Snook couldn’t be more grateful for of the Wags and Menace Make a Difference Foundation for funding all of his lifesaving emergency medical care! Snook was found stray, afraid and alone, in desperate need of help. When he arrived at HSBV, he was hesitant to interact with our team, cowering in the back of his kennel and so weak he could barely stand. We knew we needed to act quickly, and our skilled behavior team worked to befriend Snook with kindness and treats, earning his trust so our veterinary team could diagnosis his illness. Snook was severely underweight and dehydrated, and it was soon discovered that Snook was suffering from life-threatening parvovirus. Cindy and Baxter responded immediately, providing emergency medical hospitalization, critical diagnostics, blood work, special medication, IV fluids to combat dehydration, and weeks of intensive supportive care and treatment in our Veterinary Clinic. With his increasing confidence and feeling much better, he was adopted by a new forever family! Thank you Cindy Lee, Baxter, and the Wags and Menace Make a Difference Program Foundation. Their lifesaving support gave Snook his second chance at life!
