Journey Home Animal Care Center owes the Wags and Menace Make a Difference Foundation a monumental thank you for providing Cooper with life saving medical funding! When Cooper came to JHACC, he came with an old injury to his hip. Cooper’s hip had been dislocated. Due to the injury being left untreated for so long, Cooper had limited options. Our Veterinarian is striving to give Cooper the best quality of life possible, and performed a femoral head osteotomy surgery, or FHO surgery, today! This procedure will give Cooper a chance to keep his left leg. Our Veterinarian believes that Cooper will do well with this procedure because he’s a small pup. Currently, Cooper is in a foster to adopt home so he’s got someone to give him lots of love before, during, and after his big day. The life changing medical funding from Wags and Menace Make a Difference Foundation made this surgery possible for Cooper. JHACC is eternally grateful for their support!
