This ‘Io (Hawaiian Hawk) has been with us Hawaii Wildlife Center since December 2022 recovering from a wing injury. She just went in for radiographs a few days ago and luckily there was no evidence of arthritis in her joints. She has also been doing some good flights in her aviary which is encouraging as well! Grants and donations are critical to our ability to care for patients, especially these challenging long-term medical cases.
