WEB GALLERY POST: A huge thanks goes to the Wags And Menace team for the life saving medicines needed for this little donkey, Alfie. MARES Donkey Sanctuary found little Alfie tied to a tree with engine oil poured all over him and a rag wrapped around his fractured back leg. We were able to get him back to our sanctuary where we put him under anesthetic and placed a cast on his leg. It was a very difficult operation as little Alfie also had a huge wound in this same leg which had to be left open to heal. This op was repeated 3 times before the fracture mended. None of this would have been possible without the generous help of Wags and Menace Make a Difference Foundation.
