P-Body, Shell and Journey Home Animal Care Center are sending the Wags and Menace Make a Difference Foundation a big purring thank you for the life saving medical funding! These kitties arrived in our care with ringworm. Two of their litter mates were able to clear their infection earlier and have since been adopted. These two took just a little bit longer to recover, but we are happy to report they are ringworm free! If you haven’t heard what Ringworm is, it is a highly contagious fungal infection that can be transmitted between animals and people. It is very difficult to treat in a shelter environment and the animal must be in isolation for treatment, sometimes spanning weeks or months. We are so appreciative of the life saving medical funding provided by the foundation. P-Body and Shell have a second chance at life and can now relax, be safe and warm!
