Poinsettia

Expressing Gratitude: Poinsettia’s Journey to Healing with the Lifesaving Support of the Wags and Menace Make a Difference Foundation. We are pleased to share a heartwarming update from Journey Home Animal Care Center (JHACC). Poinsettia, a 2-year-old cat who came to us as a stray, recently faced a health challenge that unfolded into a story of resilience and care. After a few weeks in our care, staff noticed a concerning mass on Poinsettia’s neck. Positioned in a delicate location, immediate attention was necessary. Our Veterinarian performed a surgery to remove the mass while ensuring the safety of vital structures in the area. None of this would have been possible without the incredible support of the Wags and Menace Make a Difference Foundation for life-changing funding that made it possible for Poinsettia to receive the necessary medical attention, ensuring a smoother path to recovery. We are immensely grateful for their generosity, which not only alleviated her physical discomfort but also set the stage for her journey to finding a loving forever home.
