California Wildlife Center is grateful to the Wags and Menace Make A Difference Foundation for funding emergency medical care for our marine mammal patients. Medications and supplements are a critical component of wildlife rehabilitation.Here you will see one of our young female California Sea Lion patients who suffered from a large laceration on her left lip. The skin was surgically removed, and the sea lion was administered a course of antibiotics to help prevent infection. She made a full recovery and is almost ready to be returned to the wild!
