LJ McGhee

LJ McGhee was rescued from the Crescent City harbor. This poor guy was emaciated and unresponsive, suffering from hypothermia, hypoglycemia and a flipper abscess. We administered subcutaneous fluids, IP dextrose injections, electrolytes and fish mash throughout the intake process. His little body was so cold that he still wasn’t  even registering a temperature after three hours! Our amazing team worked tirelessly, late into the night to help this little guy pull through! He has been on antibiotics for over a week now. He’s crazy for fish and is up to 32 pounds already! Go LJ!! Thank you to Wags and Menace Make a Difference Foundation for sponsoring all of his medical and nutritional needs and giving him a second chance!
