Ryn was surrendered to our shelter with a previous injury to her right hind leg. This injury healed abnormally which caused a deformity. Our staff was concerned how this will effect her quality of life and what we needed to do to help this sweet girl! After a thorough examination by our veterinarian, it was determined that Ryn was using her leg well enough and there was not a need for amputation or surgery at this time, and that her new family will keep a close eye on her if any future problems arise. She has an altered gait, however that does not slow her down! She is just a happy dog that wants to be loved. We are happy to report Ryn was adopted out to a loving family and is doing wonderfully! Her new family will continue to keep us updated on her leg in the future!
